Mudjimba Tide Shark Mug – Handmade Ceramic

A handmade ceramic shark mug inspired by high tide mornings at Mudjimba Beach on the Sunshine Coast, where the water turns glassy and everything slows right down.

This piece features a raised shark gliding across soft ocean tones of pale aqua and seafoam. Subtle textures sit beneath the glaze, creating a sense of movement like ripples drifting through water. The finish shifts gently in the light, giving it that calm, coastal depth.

Hand-built from stoneware clay, this mug has an organic, slightly tapered shape with a comfortable handle that feels easy in the hand. Each piece is one of a kind, with natural variations in glaze and texture adding to its character.

All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All of our pieces ~ with the exception of gold lustre decorations ~ are dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

Gold lustre finishes are fired in the kiln for durability & food safety, however please note they are not dishwasher or ovenproof. DO NOT microwave lustre pieces as we use true gold!
